Set My Lineup Week 4 (Segment one)

1) Pat

League Settings: PPR, IDP

QB: Jay Cutler, Andy Dalton, Andrew Luck

RB: Kareem Hunt, Bilal Powell, Shane Vereen, Ameer Abdullah

WR: Jordy Nelson, AJ Green, DeAndre Hopkins, Martavis Bryant, Kenny Golladay

TE: Charles Clay, Tyler Eifert

K: Giorgio Tavecchio

D/ST: San Diego Chargers

IDP: Ryan Shazier, Landon Collins

Vick’s Take: Jay Cutler laid an egg last week, but he is facing the Saints defense in a potential bounce-back game. I like the Dolphins in that scenario. Andy Dalton cannot be trusted until the Bengals show offensive consistency. Kareem Hunt is obviously the best player on your team. Bilal Powell is a nice pairing this week since Matt Forte is rumored to have the dreaded turf toe injury. Tyler Eifert is also injured so Charles Clay is your starter by default. Ryan Shazier balled last week, holding onto him has finally paid off for you. If Eagles D/ST is available I would take a hard look at them.

2) Diane

League Settings: PPR

QB: Dak Prescott

RB: LeSean McCoy, Leonard Fournette, Frank Gore, Chris Carson

WR: Brandin Cooks, Michael Crabtree, Terrelle Pryor, Martavis Bryant, DeVante Parker, Jermaine Kearse

TE: Jimmy Graham

K: Matt Prater

D/ST: Kansas City Chiefs

Vick’s Take: The tricky part of your roster is trying to guess which WRs will hit. Keep an eye on the various matchups, it’s becoming more apparent as to who the weaker defenses are in the league. I like how Parker gets force fed by targets in the Dolphins offense, he should be in for a big week against the Saints secondary. Try trading a WR for a backup TE. Jimmy Graham is a flashy name but has to prove he can be counted on. Nonetheless, he should be good to go this week.

3) Chris

League Settings: Unspecified

QB: Marcus Mariota

RB: Le’Veon Bell, Chris Carson, Lamar Miller, Jamaal Charles, James White, Joe Mixon

WR: Keenan Allen, DeVante Parker, Jamison Crowder, Kenny Golladay

TE: Charles Clay, Delanie Walker

K: Graham Gano

D/ST: Pittsburgh Steelers

Vick’s Take: Try to get your depth at the WR position more fortified. Joe Mixon or Lamar Miller can go in your flex depending on the matchup. Mixon seems to be in good favor with the Bengals new offensive coordinator so roll with him this week. I also trust Delanie Walker to be a beast on every snap he plays.

4) Cory

League Settings: Unspecified, WR/RB/3FLEX

QB: Marcus Mariota, Trevor Siemian

RB: Dalvin Cook, Carlos Hyde, Mark Ingram, Buck Allen, Chris Carson

WR: Doug Baldwin, Demaryius Thomas, DeVante Parker, Pierre Garcon, Michael Thomas

TE: Coby Fleener

K: Giorgio Tavecchio

D/ST: Jacksonville Jaguars

Vick’s Take: Dalvin Cook is starting to get his footing in the offense. The Vikings will rely on him to move the ball if Sam Bradford continues to miss time, so he will get guaranteed touches. Coby Fleener was a good upgrade at your TE position. Marcus Mariota will look to take advantage of a Texans secondary that got dismantled last week. Houston is suffering from injuries so Mariota should exploit them on the back-end.

5) Sandra

League Settings: PPR WR/TE

QB: Cam Newton, Tyrod Taylor

RB: Ameer Abdullah, Buck Allen, CJ Anderson, Isaiah Crowell

WR: Odell Beckham Jr., Randall Cobb, Stefon Diggs, TY Hilton, Willie Snead

TE: Hunter Henry

K: Brandon McManus, Nick Folk

D/ST: Dallas Cowboys, Carolina Panthers

Vick’s Take: Cam Newton is only good every other week it seems like, play him at your own risk. Tyrod Taylor has proven to be more consistent despite having new weapons to work with on offense. Buck Allen and the Ravens had a terrible week, keep an eye on his usage as he could be potential trade bait. They seem to like Alex Collins on first and second down. TY Hilton finally found his stride, he can be started. You have some serious big play WRs. You can drop Nick Folk.

6) Alexander

League Settings: Unspecified

QB: Tom Brady

RB: Jordan Howard, Christian McCaffrey, Bilal Powell, Jonathan Stewart, Buck Allen, Chris Johnson

WR: Jordy Nelson, Keenan Allen, Adam Thielen, Jamison Crowder, Rishard Matthews

TE: Delanie Walker

K: Justin Tucker

D/ST: Baltimore Ravens

Vick’s Take: Jordan Howard and McCaffrey were huge last week, Bilal Powell will join their ranks with extended touches. Those three RBs will for sure rack up yards and TDs for your fantasy team. Ravens D/ST played a flukey game in London, they will look to rebound this week.

7) Tristan

League Settings: .5 PPR

QB: Russell Wilson, Blake Bortles

RB: Marshawn Lynch, Carlos Hyde, Jordan Howard, Tarik Cohen

WR: Odell Beckham Jr, Alshon Jeffery, Eric Decker, Ted Ginn, DeVante Parker, Golden Tate

TE: Zach Ertz

Vick’s Take: Love that you traded Zeke and Dez for Jordan Howard and Carlos Hyde. With your three RBs you have set starters each week. Alshon has proven to be the WR1 in Philly, and Zach Ertz is amongst the league leaders in receiving yards and receptions. Your team is stacked.

8) Austin

League Settings: Standard Scoring

QB: Tom Brady

RB: Carlos Hyde, Dalvin Cook, Chris Carson, Ameer Abdullah, Danny Woodhead, D’Onta Foreman

WR: Pierre Garcon, AJ Green, Amari Cooper, Keenan Allen, Chris Hogan, Alshon Jeffery, Kendall Wright

TE: Kyle Rudolph

Vick’s Take: You may have one of the best team ever submitted to us for a lineup request. Good work. You can drop Danny Woodhead for a backup TE or QB, just to have some depth in case of emergency. Dalvin Cook and Carlos Hyde carry their offenses, start them every week. AJ Green is a starter every week as well. Chris Hogan is a hot hand you can trust right now. Keenan Allen is matched up against a weaker secondary than Alshon Jeffery is. Amari Cooper could used for trade bait.
