Set My Lineup Week 4 (Segment one)

1) Pat

League Settings: PPR, IDP

QB: Jacoby Brissett, Josh McCown

RB: Kareem Hunt, Bilal Powell, Ameer Abdullah, James White, Adrian Peterson

WR: Jordy Nelson, DeAndre Hopkins, Martavis Bryant, Tyrell Williams, Willie Snead

TE: Hunter Henry, Ed Dickson

K: Matt Bryant

D/ST: Washington Redskins

IDP: Ryan Shazier

Vick’s Take: Keep an eye on Adrian Peterson and the Cardinals offensive line. A few weeks from now it could be possible that AP is a starter every week, or he could be a bust like how he was on the Saints. Brissett is finally clicking with the Colts offense. I like your makeshift TEs, but look for Tyler Kroft off of waivers since Tyler Eifert is out for the season.

2) Jeremy

League Settings: PPR, 100 yard bonuses

QB: Carson Palmer, Russell Wilson

RB: Mark Ingram, Doug Martin, DeMarco Murray, Derrick Henry, Alvin Kamara, Tarik Cohen

WR: Larry Fitzgerald, Jordy Nelson, Keenan Allen, DeSean Jackson

TE: Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Cameron Brate

K: Jake Elliott

D/ST: Jacksonville Jaguars

Vick’s Take: THIS IS THE BEST TEAM. Start Alvin Kamara over Mark Ingram, that kid is going to take this league over.

3) Mike

League Settings: Unspecified

QB: Trevor Siemian, Russell Wilson

RB: Kareem Hunt, Ameer Abdullah, Alfred Morris, Elijah McGuire, Buck Allen, Marlon Mack

WR: Michael Thomas, Julio Jones, Stefon Diggs, Doug Baldwin, Amari Cooper

TE: Kyle Rudolph

D/ST: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Vick’s Take: If you are looking to replace Trevor Siemian in your starting lineup, take a hard look at Jacoby Brissett, who is fresh off of a big game and is developing chemistry with that Colts offense. Elijah McGuire, Marlon Mack, and Buck Allen will all have increased value later in the year. Don’t forget to pick up a K and maybe consider a backup TE in case anything happens to Kyle Rudolph. You should look to trade one of your big name WRs. Keep an eye on Stefon Diggs and his groin injury.

4) Sandra

League Settings: PPR WR/TE

QB: Cam Newton, Tyrod Taylor

RB: Ameer Abdullah, Buck Allen, CJ Anderson, Isaiah Crowell

WR: Odell Beckham Jr., Randall Cobb, Stefon Diggs, TY Hilton

TE: Charles Clay (Injured)

D/ST: Dallas Cowboys, Carolina Panthers

Vick’s Take: Sorry to see you lose Odell Beckham Jr. for the rest of the year. His replacement Roger Lewis could see some extended time, but nothing can replace OBJ. I have given up hope on Isaiah Crowell, but maybe a new starter at QB can jump start that offense. Charles Clay is injured so look to pick up another TE if you feel inclined to.

5) Nathan

League Settings: Standard

QB: Dak Prescott, Mitchell Trubisky

RB: Jay Ajayi, Mike Gillislee, Isaiah Crowell, Rob Kelley, Jonathan Stewart, Latavius Murray

WR: Odell Beckham Jr, Doug Baldwin, Keenan Allen, John Brown

TE: Jordan Reed, Jared Cook

Vick’s Take: Things are getting messy here. I would not trust Trubisky to do well in only his second professional start. Look for Jacoby Brissett or Josh McCown on waivers for this week. Drop Odell and Latavius Murray in exchange for more help at the WR position. Roger Lewis, Nelson Agholor, Torrey Smith, and Tre McBride are a few sleepers to consider.

6) James

League Settings: PPR

QB: Matthew Stafford

RB: Le’Veon Bell, James White, Wayne Gallman, Jerrick McKinnon

WR: AJ Green, Rishard Matthews, Willie Snead, Tyrell Williams, Danny Amendola, Sammy Watkins, Roger Lewis

TE: Jared Cook

K: Matt Bryant

D/ST: Washington Redskins, Houston Texans

Vick’s Take: I like Willie Snead coming off of a bye week and fully healthy. Rishard Matthews is a safer play, but Mariota’s health is a mystery and their success is co-dependent. Roger Lewis is a nice pickup for the rest of the season, you just can’t play him versus the Broncos defense. I like Gallman too, but for the same reason he can’t be started this week.

7) Austin

League Settings: Standard

QB: Tom Brady

RB: Carlos Hyde, Matt Breida, Marlon Mack, Alex Collins, Andre Ellington, Ameer Abdullah

WR: Chris Hogan, Alshon Jeffery, Amari Cooper, Keenan Allen, Kendall Wright

TE: Kyle Rudolph

K: Jake Elliott

D/ST: Baltimore Ravens

Vick’s Take: You can keep starting Kyle Rudolph at your TE position, although if you feel comfortable dropping someone it is never too early to stock up on depth. Amari Cooper needs to be benched until he breaks out. I like Alex Collins in the flex this week since Terrance West is injured.

8) Frank

League Settings: PPR

QB: Jameis Winston

RB: Leonard Fournette, Duke Johnson, Ty Montgomery, Doug Martin, Isaiah Crowell

WR: Mike Evans, DaVante Adams, Devin Funchess, Rishard Matthews, DeVante Parker, Josh Doctson

TE: Evan Engram

K: Matt Prater

D/ST: Kansas City Chiefs, Arizona Cardinals

Vick’s Take: Your team is strong, no surprise you have won three games in a row. If you need to throw a player in the flex I like Duke Johnson in that position. Montgomery needs to prove he is healthy, and I think Devin Funchess gets held in check against a good defense. If you want to trade players look at your RB position since you have so much depth there. Parker, Funchess, and Montgomery are all trade candidates. You need to upgrade your TE position. Josh Doctson can be dropped.

9) Eduardo

League Settings: PPR

QB: Matthew Stafford, Alex Smith

RB: Carlos Hyde, Duke Johnson, Ameer Abdullah

WR: Antonio Brown, Will Fuller, Dez Bryant, DeVante Parker, Donte Moncrief, Larry Fitzgerald

TE: Kyle Rudolph, Evan Engram

K: Matt Bryant

D/ST: Atlanta Falcons

Vick’s Take: Get some more depth at RB, you are an injury and a bye week away from desperation there. I like Larry Fitzgerald in a bounce back game, and Duke Johnson worries me with a new QB under center.
