1). Saman

League Settings: PPR

QB: Tom Brady

RB: Buck Allen, DeVonta Freeman, Marshawn Lynch, Derek Henry, Jerrick McKinnon, Wayne Gallman

WR: Mike Evans, Stefon Diggs, DeVante Parker, John Brown

TE: Travis Kelce

DEF: Detroit

K: Giorgio Tavecchio

Matt’s Take: Saman, you got hit really hard with the injury bug this week having Stefon Diggs out and DeVante Parker questionable. Your QB is an easy choice (because you only have one) and because it’s Tom Brady. I think this week it would be best for you to start three RBs, which is not something that I’d usually recommend in a PPR league. The top three RBs you have this week are DeVanta Freeman, Marshawn Lynch and Jerrick McKinnon. I think all are top 15 options this week at the RB position. You’re kind of limited at WR, but as of me writing this Parker is questionable so I’d roll with John Brown, who has his own injury history too.

2) Chris

League Settings: Half Point PPR

QB: Deshaun Watson, Marcus Mariota

RB: Le’Veon Bell, Jerrick McKinnon, Joe Mixon, Jamaal Charles, J.D. McKissic, D’onta Foreman

WR: Keenan Allen, Stefon Diggs, DeVante Parker, Terrell Pryor Sr., Mike Williams

TE: Delanie Walker, Jordan Reed

DEF: Titans

K: Graham Gano

Matt’s Take: Chris, your team is in the same predicament that Saman’s was losing both Stefon Diggs and having DeVante Parker questionable. At quarterback I’d start DeShaun Watson since Marcus Mariota is questionable and Watson is as hot as any QB can be right now. At RB I’d start Le’Veon Bell and Jerrick McKinnon. You have a lot of young guys who could get their chances later in the year, but right now those are your best two options with Joe Mixon on a bye this week. At WR I’d start your two healthy guys in Keenan Allen and Terrell Pryor Sr., I’d avoid Mike Williams until we know how the Chargers will use him. I would play a TE in your FLEX spot this week with all of your injury questions and start both Delanie Walker and Jordan Reed. Hopefully week 7 will provide you with more healthy options.

3) Frank

League Settings: 12 team Full PPR

QB: Jameis Winston

RB: Leonard Fournette, Ty Montgomery, Doug Martin, Jay Ajayi, Aaron Jones

WR: Mike Evans, Davante Adams, Alshon Jeffery, Devin Funchess, Devante Parker, Mike Williams

TE: Evan Engram

Defense: Kansas City, Arizona

K: Matt Prater.

Matt’s Take: Frank, I really like the makeup of your team. In your message you listed some trades you made and I absolutely love both returns you got. I’d also hold onto Mike Williams until there’s some clarity in how the Chargers will use him. Evan Engram is a solid option, especially now that he’s probably the best pass catcher the Giants have. As far as your lineup goes there were some tough decisions to be made with it. QB is easy since you only have one option, but running back was tough. I went with the obvious choice in Fournette who is a top three option for me this week and Doug Martin who looked ready to ball out in his debut against the Patriots and got a long week to recover. With Ty Montgomery coming back (possibly) I’m going to avoid Aaron Jones and him this week. At WR Mike Evans is an auto start, Devante Adams showed what he can do a week after a concussion so I’d imagine he’d be fine this week. Your FLEX spot came down to Alshon Jeffery vs Jay Ajayi and I’m more comfortable with Jeffery than Ajayi, especially in PPR leagues. I think Arizona’s defense is worse than Kansas City’s so I’m rolling the Chiefs out.

4) Z

League settings: 10 Team PPR

QB: Jacoby Brissett, Derek Carr

RB: Todd Gurley, Mark Ingram, Duke Johnson Jr., Alfred Morris

WR: Michael Crabtree, Devin Funchess, Willie Snead

TE: Hunter Henry, Jimmy Graham

DEF: Baltimore

K: Steven Gostkowski

D: C.J. Mosley, Bobby Wagner

Matt’s Take: Z, this was a pretty easy lineup to set. It depends on how you view Derek Carr, but I like Jacoby Brissett this week against a struggling Titans Defense. Brissett’s rushing skills have helped him, and fantasy owners, this season and I expect that to continue. At RB Todd Gurley is a must start, Mark Ingram gets a boost with the AP trade and Duke Johnson is a PPR stud at RB. If you already started Devin Funchess this week than sit Willie Snead  and start Michael Crabtree with confidence. Jimmy Graham is on a bye so Hunter Henry is an easy start at TE. The same goes for C.J. Mosley over Bobby Wagner. Your defense and kicker choices are limited to one so those are easy.
