Set My Lineup Week 4 (Segment one)

1) Pat

League Settings: PPR, IDP

QB: Jared Goff

RB: Kareem Hunt, Bilal Powell, Ameer Abdullah, James White, Adrian Peterson

WR: Jordy Nelson, AJ Green, DeAndre Hopkins, Martavis Bryant, Nelson Agholor

TE: Hunter Henry

K: Matt Bryant

D/ST: Miami Dolphins

IDP: Ryan Shazier

Vick’s Take: Your team has a real identity. Goff will do at QB for now, but keep an eye on CJ Beathard and even Teddy Bridgewater for potential upgrades. You have good depth at RB, especially now since you can start Adrian Peterson every week. I like George Kittle at TE, he was actually teammates with CJ Beathard in college. Those two could be sneaky fantasy stashes. Hunter Henry has come on for you lately, though. I’m not sure what to think about the Dolphins D/ST, that team is always so up and down. Buffalo Bills, New York Jets, and Dallas Cowboys have defenses I would look at this week.

2) Z

League Settings: PPR

QB: Carson Palmer, Derek Carr, Andy Dalton

RB: Todd Gurley, Mark Ingram, Duke Johnson Jr., Jonathan Stewart

WR: Michael Crabtree, John Brown, Danny Amendola, Mike Wallace

TE: Jimmy Graham

K: Stephen Gostkowski

D/ST: Buffalo Bills

Vick’s Take: The only position that is potentially vulnerable is WR. Obviously, your RBs are loaded up. You don’t need to carry three QBs, look to drop Andy Dalton and let some other sucker pick him up and start him in an inopportune time, same with Mike Wallace. In free agency I would look to pick up WR: JuJu Smith-Schuster, Kenny Stills, or Eric Decker and at TE: George Kittle, Zach Miller.

3) Chris

League Settings: Unspecified

QB: Marcus Mariota, Deshaun Watson

RB: Le’Veon Bell, Jerick McKinnon, Joe Mixon, Jamaal Charles, JD McKissic, Derrick Henry

WR: Keenan Allen, Stefon Diggs, DeVante Parker, Terrelle Pryor Sr., Taylor Gabriel

TE: Jordan Reed, Delanie Walker

K: Graham Gano

D/ST: New Orleans Saints

Vick’s Take: Your lineup is perfect the way that you set it. Keep an eye on Stefon Diggs because if he is not healthy enough to play then Taylor Gabriel might be another sneaky option. Jordan Reed has been disappointing thus far, if he continues to struggle look to bench him. Delanie Walker would normally be the start, but he has been given extra blocking duties lately.

4) Brad

League Settings: PPR

QB: Andy Dalton, Matthew Stafford

RB: Tevin Coleman, Alex Collins, Austin Ekeler, Bilal Powell, Theo Riddick, Melvin Gordon, Jerick McKinnon

WR: Randall Cobb, Larry Fitzgerald, AJ Green, DeAndre Hopkins, Cooper Kupp

TE: Travis Kelce, Jason Witten

K: Will Lutz

D/ST: Arizona Cardinals

Vick’s Take: Your team looks good. No changes.

5) Robert

League Settings: Unspecified

QB: Carson Wentz, Marcus Mariota

RB: Devonta Freeman, Leonard Fournette, Alvin Kamara, Orleans Darkwa

WR: Michael Thomas, Tyreek Hill, Dez Bryant, Stefon Diggs, Will Fuller

TE: Cameron Brate, Jordan Reed

K: Jake Elliott, Ryan Succop

D/ST: New Orleans Saints

Vick’s Take: Your team is very good. I am very tempted to start Dez Bryant this week, but your starting WRs are so strong it is hard to replace them. You probably don’t need to carry two kickers.

6) Austin

League Settings: Standard

QB: Tom Brady

RB: Carlos Hyde, Matt Breida, Orleans Darkwa, Joe Mixon, Dion Lewis

WR: Chris Hogan, Alshon Jeffery, AJ Green, Amari Cooper, Keenan Allen, Kendall Wright

TE: Kyle Rudolph, George Kittle

K: Jake Elliott

D/ST: Baltimore Ravens, Seattle Seahawks

Vick’s Take: Joe Mixon was a nice addition to your RB depth. He is getting more and more involved in that Bengals offense. Don’t jump right onto the Orleans Darkwa bandwagon, the Giants offensive line is still terrible. I do like Dion Lewis in the future. Your WRs are stacked, look to trade Hogan potentially.

7) Eduardo

League Settings: PPR

QB: Matthew Stafford, Alex Smith

RB: Carlos Hyde, Duke Johnson, Ameer Abdullah, Orleans Darkwa

WR: Antonio Brown, Will Fuller, Dez Bryant, DeVante Parker, Donte Moncrief, Larry Fitzgerald

TE: Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Evan Engram

K: Matt Bryant

D/ST: Carolina Panthers

Vick’s Take: You have a very well rounded team. Do not be worried about Alex Smith, he is playing the best ball of his career and is a legitimate MVP candidate. Your lineup is fine the way you set it, and I would be scared to be matched up against you.

8) Cesar

League Settings: PPR

QB: Russell Wilson, Deshaun Watson

RB: Jay Ajayi, Leonard Fournette, Lamar Miller, Joe Mixon, Alfred Morris

WR: Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Thomas, Alshon Jeffery

TE: Martellus Bennett, Greg Olsen

K: Justin Tucker

D/ST: Baltimore Ravens

Vick’s Take: You can drop Greg Olsen, even if he comes back there is no telling how effective he will be this year. You don’t really need another RB, in fact I would look to your WR depth when aiming at the waiver wire. Hold onto Alfred Morris for one more week until the dust settles on the Zeke legal front.
